Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join our Advanced Facilities Data Centers team, focusing on building mechanical systems, HVAC, and piping. You’ll perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, and prepare construction design packages.

You will develop design criteria, AFDs, and P&IDs, providing design calculations under the guidance of Professional Engineers. Join a multi-disciplinary team delivering complex projects with growth across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Fire Protection Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Desire to design building mechanical systems, including HVAC and piping.
• Proficiency in 3D CADD.
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and P&IDs.
• Provide system design calculations and related design services.
• Coordinate with other trades (architectural/engineering) under PE guidance.
• Progress from basic to more complex design tasks with a technical team.
• Ensure schedule and technical quality meet client expectations.
