Job summary

MeBe is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to support evidence-based therapies for children with autism at home or at our Learning Center. You will implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision, document progress, and help families with ongoing strategies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must obtain RBT/CBT certification within 60 days of employment (MeBe will help you!).
• Background check required and ability to pass.
• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor's degree in Pediatrics or Human Development preferred.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and participate in active tasks.

Responsibilities

• Teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting (home or MeBe Learning Center).
• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBA to improve communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBA and document outcomes in Central Reach.
• Record behavior data and progress at end of each session; ensure timekeeping and notes align with ABA regulations.
• Help maintain a safe, organized workplace and assist with lunch/break routines.
