Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to join Store Leadership.

You will oversee a specific area of the store, support general operations, and act as Manager on Duty when needed, opening/closing, supervising associates, and keeping the store welcoming and well-presented. You will ensure safe, compliant store conditions, oversee merchandise presentation, assist with front-end operations, loss prevention, and daily administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Fluency in English and supervisory experience.
• Experience with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe and secure store environment.
• Delivers strong customer service and leads by example.
• Trains and supervises associates on front-end procedures.
• Oversees merchandising presentation and stockroom organization.
• Participates in loss prevention and compliance with company policies.
• Performs administrative duties and supports store leadership.
