Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. seeks an Area Supervisor who will oversee a specific store area and general operations as part of Store Leadership. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, maintain a clean, inviting shopping environment, and ensure proper merchandise presentation and adherence to company processes.

You will also supervise loss prevention, provide front-end coaching, and support daily store activities to drive a positive customer experience and sales growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe and secure store environment and open/close procedures.
• Supervises Associates and ensures friendly, efficient customer service.
• Oversees merchandising, stockrooms, and front-end operations to Company standards.
• Trains and coaches Associates on cash registers and loss prevention policies.
• Manages breaks, schedules, and payroll administration as assigned by Store Manager.
• Ensures compliance with loss prevention and store presentation guidelines.
