Job summary

Ross Stores in Sparks, NV is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and assist as Manager on Duty. You will open/close, supervise Associates, and ensure safe, clean, and well merchandised conditions consistent with company standards.

You will uphold loss prevention routines, train staff on checkout procedures, control breaks and back stock, and promote fast, friendly service while maintaining brand presentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store and supervise associates on duty.
• Maintain safe, clean, and merchandise-friendly store environment.
• Enforce company processes and presentations across the area.
• Lead front-end operations to reduce customer wait times.
• Support loss prevention and safety initiatives.
• Coordinate stockroom and back-room organization.
