Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and oversee daily operations as part of Store Leadership. You will supervise Associates, ensure merchandise presentation, maintain store safety, and support loss prevention measures while upholding company standards.

You will open/close the store, manage front-end activities, and collaborate with leadership to sustain a customer-friendly shopping environment across shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates.
• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and Associates.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean stockrooms.
• Supervise Front End operations and cashier procedures.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and loss prevention policies.
• Manage back stock, stockroom organization, and replenishment.
• Support payroll administration and store administration tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
