Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific Store area and assist in overall operations as the Manager on Duty.

You will supervise Associates, ensure safe, secure and clean store conditions, and maintain presentation standards to enhance the shopping experience for customers. The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and adherence to company policies while driving efficiency in daily store functions and ensuring loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store and supervise Associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Execute and supervise operational processes per Company Best Practices.
• Supervise Front End operations and assist with customer service needs.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and stockroom organization in assigned area.
