Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a store area, oversee daily operations, and supervise team members when acting as Manager on Duty. You will open/close the store, guide Associates, and ensure a welcoming, well-merchandised environment.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety, executing company processes, and maintaining stockrooms and signage. Excellent communication and supervisory experience are essential for success in this role at our busy retail locations.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates when acting as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed.
• Maintain safety and security, including alarm systems and cash handling.
• Train and coach Associates on front-end procedures and signing standards.
• Ensure stockrooms are organized and back stock is secured and processed.
