Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a designated Store area, guiding daily operations and supervising Associates as Manager on Duty. You’ll ensure merchandise presentation, a safe environment, and a friendly, easy-to-shop experience for customers.

As part of Store Leadership, you will open/close the store, uphold company standards, train staff, and execute front-end procedures, merchandising, and loss prevention practices consistent with Ross policies.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising store operations and opening/closing.
• Ability to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and train Associates in merchandise presentation and store standards.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean, orderly work area.
• Execute company Best Practices and ensure loss prevention practices.
• Supervise front-end operations and cashier procedures.
• Perform payroll administration and other administrative duties as assigned.
