Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a defined store area, manage daily operations and staff, and ensure safe, customer-friendly service. You will open/close the store, supervise associates, and ensure compliance with merchandising and loss prevention policies.

The role demands strong communication, supervisory experience, and familiarity with POS systems. Evening and weekend availability is required to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills required.
• Fluent English language abilities essential.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
• Ensure merchandise presentation is up to standards and keep stockrooms organized.
• Lead Front End operations, manage cash controls and checkout processes with efficiency.
• Uphold loss prevention practices and safety procedures across the store.
