Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee a specific store area and assist in daily operations. You will open/close the store, supervise Associates, maintain an inviting, easy-to-shop environment, and ensure proper presentation of merchandise.

You will lead front-end processes, promote safety and loss prevention, and support the Store Manager with administrative duties. Excellent communication, reliability, and availability evenings/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and guest service skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience supervising retail staff preferred.
• Familiarity with POS equipment and applications.
• Strong math skills for transactions and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise associates.
• Maintain a clean, well-merchandised selling floor.
• Execute merchandising and back-room processes per policy.
• Manage security, safety and loss prevention measures.
• Provide front-end supervision and cash handling support.
