Job summary

Western Funding Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to advance funded deals by partnering with independent and franchise dealers across the US. You will manage growth with dealers in your region, employing a consultative sales approach to build strong relationships and drive successful funding outcomes.

You will work remotely and on the road, reporting to Regional Sales Managers. Training and a supportive team will help you overcome sales barriers and grow your network of dealer partners.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• Experience in Financial Services or car dealership.
• 1-2 years in a challenging sales role with a proven track record.
• Clear and effective presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Results orientation and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to visit auto dealers.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals from calls.
• Develop and grow dealer partners within Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintain regular communication with dealer partners on current programs.
• Train dealers in Western Funding processes for fast contract funding.
