Job summary

Western Funding, Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to represent our products to dealer partners across North America. The role focuses on increasing funded deals by partnering with suitable dealers, with a consultative sales approach and substantial travel.

You'll train and support dealers, build strong relationships, and work remotely with occasional travel, aiming to grow the dealer network and funding volume in your region.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• Experience in Financial Services or car dealership environment.
• 1–2 years in a challenging sales role with a proven track record.
• Clear and effective presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Results-oriented; able to work independently and in a team.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within independent and franchise dealerships, in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts and others.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from calls for independent and franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow current and potential dealer partners in the independent and franchise communities.
• Maintain consistent communication with dealer partners about current programs.
• Train dealers on Western Funding, including proper documentation for fast funding.
