Job summary

Western Funding Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive dealer funding growth across the United States. This full-time field role blends remote work with on-site dealer visits to expand funded deals and strengthen partnerships with Independent and Franchise dealerships.

You will train dealers on program requirements, identify prospects, maintain active dealer relationships, and manage territory performance using a consultative sales approach. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• MS Office Suite knowledge is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• Experience in Financial Services or car dealership preferred.
• 1-2 years in a sales role with a proven track record.
• Clear and effective presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Results oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate products and services to management within dealerships in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals from dealers.
• Develop and grow current and potential dealer partners.
• Maintain communication with dealer partners about programs.
• Train dealers on proper documentation for fast funding of contracts.
