Job summary

Western Funding Inc, a fast-growing auto finance subsidiary of Westlake Financial Services, seeks an Area Sales Manager to grow funded deals by partnering with Independent and Franchise Dealers. The role covers a regional area with remote and road duties, providing training and strategic support to dealers for faster funding of contracts.

You will join a supportive External Sales Team, with comprehensive onboarding and ongoing field training to ensure success. Travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• Must have MS Office Suite proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• Experience in Financial Services or car dealership environment is a plus.
• 2+ years in sales with a proven track record.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate products and services to dealership management in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from dealers.
• Develop and grow dealer partnerships in the region.
• Maintain active communication with dealer partners about programs.
• Train dealers on proper documentation for fast funding of contracts.
