Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for the Grocery Fulfillment Center in Columbus, OH. You will lead a team of hourly employees, drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance, and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include mentoring your team, coordinating with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR, and adapting to a multi-temperature fulfillment environment with flexible weekend/overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and perform related physical tasks.
• Work in varying noise, temperatures, and weather conditions in delivery stations and grocery locations.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and overnight shifts.
