Job summary

Amazon in Ohio is seeking an Area Manager to lead a warehouse team, mentor associates, and drive safety, quality and productivity on fast-paced logistics challenges.

You will oversee 50–100 direct reports, walk the floor to stay connected, coach your team, and manage shifts that include nights, weekends, and holidays while coordinating with support teams to remove roadblocks and keep customers' orders moving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress with all degree requirements met before start.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and motivate 50-100 direct-report Amazon Associates.
• Lead on a daily basis with an autonomous work style.
• Stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Manage nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Oversee truck deliveries and sort packages using pallet jacks and PIT equipment.
