Job summary

Amazon is looking for an Area Manager in Lockbourne, OH to lead a team of hourly staff across shifts, ensuring safety, quality, attendance, and delivery performance while meeting customer expectations. You will drive engagement and accountability to keep orders on time and at the right location.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and Human Resources to develop plans and coach teams, while adapting to a dynamic fulfillment network and site variations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours on shift.
• Operate in environments with variable temperatures and noise.
• Climb stairs where applicable across sites.
