Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Ohio to lead a fast-paced warehouse team. You will motivate and develop 50-100 Amazon Associates, align on safety, quality, and productivity, and own performance on your shift.

This hands-on role requires on-the-floor leadership, the ability to adapt staffing to volume, and clear communication with peers and leadership. Expect early responsibility, hands-on training, and opportunities to grow across Amazon's Operations network.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct reports.
• Lead on-floor operations and ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Stand and walk shifts up to 12 hours; night/weekend/holiday shifts.
• Oversee deliveries, sort packages, and operate pallet jacks and PIT equipment.
• Provide coaching and partner with support teams to remove roadblocks.
