Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Miami is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates at a Grocery Fulfillment Center. You will drive safety, quality, attendance, and on-time customer deliveries while coaching your team and coordinating with safety, ops, and HR partners.

The role requires mentoring staff, managing performance, and ensuring adherence to process standards in a multi-temperature fulfillment environment. Weekend/overnight shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Over 1 year of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Experience with lean techniques and process improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of hourly associates.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift and move loads as required and work in varying environments and temperatures.
• Support flexible scheduling including weekends and overnight shifts.
