Meijer Inc. is seeking an Area Leader who will drive team engagement, coaching, and performance management across a span of care. You will oversee operations and financials, direct Leads and Team Leaders, and implement process improvements while upholding Meijer culture.

The role requires building a diversified talent pipeline, ensuring onboarding and development, and delivering results through budget and staffing management in a multi-state retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in retail/grocery or customer service.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information.
• Strong communication with teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Engage with team members to onboard, train and coach for success.
• Identify talent and plan staffing for store staffing and leadership roles.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive safety, compliance, and process improvements in the store.
