You will manage area operations and budget responsibility, with a focus on safety, standards, and continuous process improvements to maximize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members for clear direction.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for informed decisions.
• Experience leading teams with safety as a priority.
• Creative thinking applied to business challenges.
• Understanding of seasonal and diverse merchandising to meet customer needs.
• Strong business acumen and a drive for industry-leading performance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with team members to ensure onboarding, training, and development.
• Identify talent and support staffing and leadership pipelines.
• Hold candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, managing budget line items in P&L.
• Drive safety, compliance, and store condition management.
• Guide Leads and Team Leaders, assign daily tasks and training needs.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
