Meijer Inc. is seeking an Area Leader to drive engagement and performance across a designated span of care. You will lead Leads and Team Leaders, coach for success, manage training, feedback, and succession planning while owning area operations and budgeted results.

You’ll identify talent, ensure onboarding and development, uphold Meijer standards, and implement process improvements to boost safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction across the landscape.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Passion to provide industry leading service.
• Clear and precise direction to team members.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.
• Demonstrates commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
• Innovative thinking to improve business results.

• Onboarding, training and development for team members with coaching and feedback.
• Identify talent and support staffing strategy for store personnel and leadership roles.
• Engage in candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, aligning with budget and plans.

• Guide Team Leaders and Leads on daily assignments and training needs.
