Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Area Leader to oversee team engagement and drive recognition, coaching and performance in the span of care. You will direct Leads and Team Leaders while being accountable for area operations, shrink, productivity, scheduling and forecasting staffing needs.

You will develop talent, ensure onboarding, and maintain Meijer's standards through performance discussions and strategic planning to enhance customer service and store results.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in retail or grocery operations.
• Strong communication to provide clear direction to staff.
• Ability to analyze sales and performance data for decisions.

Responsibilities

• Engage team members to ensure onboarding, training and development.
