Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions.
• Demonstrates proactive/creative thinking and applies it to the business.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all team members and vendors feel valued.

Responsibilities

• Engage with team members to ensure onboarding, training and coaching for success.
• Identify talent and support staffing and leadership development.
• Maintain Meijer standards and growth opportunities for employees.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure safety and compliance across the store and manage daily work assignments.
• Assist with process improvements and uphold Meijer culture.
