Job summary

Meijer is seeking an Area Leader to oversee team engagement and operational performance across a multi-store area. You will drive onboarding, coaching and development, while ensuring adherence to safety and company standards.

You will identify and nurture talent pipelines, lead staffing discussions, and manage daily operations, budgets and forecasting with a focus on sales and productivity across the span of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and financial analysis skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage team members across span of care to ensure onboarding, training and development.
• Identify talent and succession plans for store staffing and leadership roles.
• Oversee area operations and financial performance, including budget and P&L responsibility.
• Drive safety, compliance, and store condition management.
• Provide guidance to Team Leaders and Leads and assign daily work.
