You will lead Leads and Team Leaders, drive coaching, recognition, and performance management, and ensure safety, scheduling, and budget adherence within your area. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members in a way that provides clear and precise direction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that information to make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead an organization that practices working safely at all times.
• Demonstrates proactive/creative thinking and applies it to the business.
• A thorough understanding of seasonal and diverse merchandising which leads to meeting the needs of our customers/community and gaining sales and market share.
• A strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members in span of care to ensure onboarding, training and development, and coaching and feedback to be successful.
• Identifies talent and engages in career discussions to support store staffing and leadership pipelines.
• Involvement in candid discussions with team members to ensure Meijer standards are upheld and growth opportunities.
• Accountability for area operations and financial results by overseeing the execution of corporate plans to maximize sales and productivity and managing budget line items.
• Drives safety and compliance and ensures daily operations run smoothly.
• Ensures Leads and Team Leaders provide guidance and assign daily work and training needs.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.
