Job summary

JP Morgan Chase is seeking an Area Manager in Business Banking to lead a team of Business Relationship Managers in developing new deposits, cash management, and credit opportunities while strengthening client relationships.

You will guide performance, manage risk, and collaborate with partners across Chase Wealth Management, Home Lending, Branch Teams, Commercial Bank and Private Bank to deliver One Chase service and drive growth in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Banking Relationship Management or related lending.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of deposit, cash management and business credit underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of BRMs within a territory to develop deposits, cash management, and credit business with a focus on client experience and risk management.
• Manage performance of team members and ensure achievement of business priorities and risk controls.
• Oversee area revenue and profitability while monitoring credit quality, regulatory compliance, and risk protocols.
• Coach the team on relationship management, prospecting, profitability, and risk management; advise on loan structuring and pricing.
• Build and leverage cross-organization partnerships to deliver client-centric solutions and represent the bank in community leadership roles.
• Recruit, hire, and develop top talent, promoting an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
