Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York invites an experienced Area Manager, Business Banking, to lead a team of Business Relationship Managers in developing new deposits and cash management, deepening client relationships, and supporting credit solutions.

You will steer performance, revenue, and risk management, coach managers on portfolio management and loan pricing, and collaborate with partners across Chase to deliver a one Chase, client‑focused experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• Expert knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services and expert knowledge of business credit underwriting with commercial credit training.
• Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally.
• Analyze reports, metrics, and other data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization and influence others to achieve outcomes; leadership in change.
• Travel occasionally for key business and leadership meetings and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to BRMs developing deposits, cash management, and credit with focus on relationships and risk.
• Manage performance and ensure priorities with emphasis on client experience and risk management.
• Oversee area revenue and profitability and monitor credit quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coach on portfolio management, loan structuring, pricing, and tailored solutions.
• Connect business clients with specialists to meet financial goals; build cross-line collaboration across Chase.
• Recruit and maintain a diverse pipeline of top talent; foster an inclusive team environment.
