Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative for the Southern Nevada area. You will engage with architectural professionals to specify door openings, leveraging Openings Studio BIM to create 3D door solutions and drive design decisions.

You will build trusted relationships, educate on products and services, and manage opportunities from concept through bid. Travel within the territory and strong collaboration with design teams are required.

Qualifications

College/University degree (architecture/design/engineering/drafting/construction management/business) or equivalent.
At least 3 years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services.
Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process.
Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.
What you will be doing: You will work alongside a committed team of professionals who are focused on providing specification support and services to many of the top architectural firms in the country.
Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals for value-added professional services.
