Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to drive design-in and specification of door opening solutions in a national market. You will build relationships with architectural firms, specify products, and present BIM-based Openings Studio proposals to influence project outcomes.

You will travel 0-10% and work hybrid from Delaware, Maryland, or Virginia, supporting top designers and collaborating with internal teams to deliver value-added services and accurate

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build management.
• College/University degree preferred in architecture/design/engineering/construction or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with CRM tools for sales reporting.
• Knowledge of industry software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with design team influencers and specifiers.
• Identify opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
• Provide product information for project specifications.
• Deliver continuing education programs on new products and services.
• Assist with specification substitution and bid procedures.
• Utilize Salesforce for CRM, project tracking, and time management.
• Serve as the architect education and technical support contact.
• Drive adoption of Openings Studio BIM tools and present proposals.
