Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support seniors in Danbury, CT and nearby communities. No prior caregiving experience required; we provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

As a PCA, you will assist with daily activities, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments when needed, and companionship. You’ll join a team committed to dignity, safety, and quality home care, with flexible schedules and training

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic with a client who primarily speaks Arabic is required. (Bilingual Arabic/English Preferred)
• Experience is not necessary; all you need is a willingness to learn.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with Connecticut state regulations and applicable federal law.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
• Able to lift up to 25-50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable)
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team
