Job summary

ComForCare Home Care – Danbury is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide compassionate, non-medical home care to seniors in their own homes in Danbury, CT, and nearby communities. No caregiving experience is required as training and support are provided to help you succeed.

You will help clients remain independent at home with aid in daily activities, companionship, and safety checks. Flexible scheduling, paid training, and career advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic; bilingual English/Arabic preferred.
• No caregiving experience required; willingness to learn.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends; US work status required.
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers.
• Background check may be required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Help clients transfer and ambulate safely
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Monitor client well-being and report changes to the care team
