Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in Danbury, CT is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to help seniors stay independent at home. No caregiving experience required; training and support are provided. You will perform non-medical tasks, engage clients, and report changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic with a client who primarily speaks Arabic; bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
• Experience is not required; willingness to learn.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant credentials.
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Compassionate, dependable and professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Background check may be required per Connecticut state regulations and federal law.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be reliable with punctuality and professionalism.
• Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care services with compassion.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and personal hygiene.
• Help clients transfer and ambulate safely.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Transport to appointments and errands when applicable.
• Monitor client well-being and report changes to the care team.
