Job summary

ComForCare Home Care – Danbury is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support seniors and adults to live safely at home in Ridgefield, CT and nearby communities. No caregiving experience is required as comprehensive training and support are provided.

You will assist with daily activities, mobility, meals, and companionship while maintaining dignity and independence for clients. Reliable transportation and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are important.

Qualifications

• No caregiving experience required, training provided.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to home-based care.
• Background check may be required per CT regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and conversation
• Transportation to appointments and errands when needed
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team
