Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist in New Jersey to manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely collections. The role emphasizes negotiation, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with the Sales team to maintain compliant AR processes.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years in AR/collections, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. Equal opportunity employer and on-site position in NJ.

Competenze

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in AR/collections or related accounting.
• Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Microsoft Dynamics BC a plus.

Mansioni

• Make high-volume outbound collection calls and negotiate payment resolutions.
• Maintain and manage customer accounts.
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes and deductions.
• Monitor payment trends and identify collection risks.
• Document communications and collection activities in the ERP.
• Coordinate with Sales to ensure AR processes follow protocol.
• Provide reporting to the Collections Supervisor.
• Assist with year-end audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Collections Supervisor.
