Fortune Fish & Gourmet in Riverside, MO is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist. The role focuses on managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collections, with emphasis on negotiation and accuracy in financial records.

The ideal candidate will have extensive AR/collections experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience in Accounts Receivable/Collections or related accounting roles.
Proven negotiation skills to secure payment arrangements and resolve disputes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics BC a plus).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Conduct high-volume outbound collection calls and negotiate payment resolutions with customers.
Maintain customer relationships and manage customer accounts.
Investigate and resolve payment disputes, deduction issues and account discrepancies.
Monitor customer payment trends and identify potential collection risks.
Ensure accurate documentation of communications and collection activities in the ERP system.
Collaborate with Sales to ensure AR activities comply with protocols.
Provide reporting to the Collections Supervisor.
Assist with year-end audits.
Other duties as assigned by the Collections Supervisor.
