Fortune Fish & Gourmet is hiring an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist in Houston, TX. The role focuses on collecting outstanding invoices, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial health.

Strong negotiation and customer service skills are essential for resolving disputes and arranging payments. The ideal candidate has at least three years in AR/collections, excellent Excel/Outlook skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Accounts Receivable, Collections or related accounting.
• Demonstrated negotiation success with customers.
• Strong work ethic with urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook; familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsabilités

• Conduct high-volume outbound collection calls and negotiate payment resolutions.
• Maintain and manage customer accounts and relationships.
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes and account discrepancies.
• Monitor payment trends and identify collection risks.
• Document communications and collection activities in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Sales to ensure AR activities follow protocol.
• Provide reporting to Collections Supervisor.
• Assist with year-end audits.
