Job summary

GWS Tool Group is seeking an Applications Specialist to manage existing accounts and generate new opportunities within metalworking tooling. You will educate customers, prospects, and distributors on our products and capabilities, and relay customer needs back to the GWS Tool Group team.

Responsibilities include scheduling visits, delivering technical presentations, and coordinating with distribution partners to drive revenue. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills.
• Demonstrates effective time management and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in sales/account management and customer education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and meet with customers to review applications and product requirements.
• Plan and conduct sales presentations with customers daily.
• Act as liaison between customers and the company on pricing, service, and product launches.
• Develop new accounts by partnering with distributors to increase revenue.
• Keep customers updated on product changes and new offerings.
• Attend conferences and trade shows to generate opportunities.
• Prepare sales and marketing reports and maintain expense accounts.
