Job summary

GWS Tool Group seeks an Application Specialist responsible for account management of Solid Round and Insert Cutting Tools. The ideal applicant will understand customers' needs in metalworking and educate them on product capabilities.

This role requires extensive travel within the CT, MA, ME, NH, RI & VT territory and strong communication skills. Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing and account management, focusing on customer success and product application.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years strong manufacturing background with a focus in milling, turning, grooving.
• Ability to assist customers with processing parts and correct application of tools.
• Proven ability to develop new customers.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and meet existing customers to review applications.
• Conduct sales presentations by meeting customers physically.
• Liaise between the company and customers on pricing and product releases.

Skills

Strong Manufacturing background

Knowledgeable in tooling and manufacturing process

Effective communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Education

Degree in sales and marketing
