Job summary

Lumen is seeking an API Technology Architect for its SWAT team in Phoenix. You will lead API architecture, integration patterns, and enablement for customers and Technical Sellers, translating business needs into secure, scalable API solutions.

You will collaborate with product and engineering across multiple portfolios, deliver training, and drive adoption of API-driven workflows while supporting complex multi-product opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in technical pre-sales, solution/ API architecture, or related roles.
• Experience leading technical discovery and translating requirements into designs.
• Strong knowledge of API authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0).
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and business teams.
• Strong organizational skills coordinating multiple engagements.
