Job summary

Lumen is recruiting an API Technology Architect to be a customer‑facing technical specialist within the SWAT team. You will drive API architecture, integration design, and enablement for Technical Sellers, shaping secure, reusable API solutions across multiple products and platforms.

You’ll lead discovery sessions, document patterns, and collaborate with product, API platforms, and engineering teams to deliver practical, scalable API resources and trainings that accelerate customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years in technical pre-sales, solution or API/integration architecture.
• Ability to translate business requirements into API designs.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and secure secrets handling.
• Strong communication with developers, sales, product, and leadership.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and enablement deliverables.
