Job summary

Middleburg Communities is hiring a Service Technician at Hamlet at Wildlight. The technician assists in maintaining assets, performing preventative maintenance, and completing apartment make-readies to ensure high curb appeal and quality homes.

The role requires the ability to perform diverse maintenance tasks, communicate effectively, and deliver exemplary service while adhering to safety policies and company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in apartment maintenance including plumbing, painting, drywall, appliance repair, electrical, locks, carpentry, roofs, and life safety equipment.
• HVAC and CFC Type I & III or Universal certification preferred.
• CPO certification strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance or 3+ years in related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections per schedule.
• Complete resident-requested repairs within 24 hours.
• Assist with apartment turns and renovations to ensure market-ready units.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and inventory tracking.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow company safety policies.
