Job summary

Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc. is seeking an apartment maintenance technician responsible for responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and completing make-ready tasks for vacant units. The role requires at least one year in apartment maintenance and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Technical or other relevant training in property maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• AC Certification I and II preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and creating punch lists.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document and file maintenance records accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assist in grounds and common-area upkeep, including pressure-washing and cleaning.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and safe.
