Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking an apartment maintenance technician to service and repair residential properties. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and ensure quality workmanship in accordance with safety standards.

The role involves make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, and coordination with vendors. A valid driver’s license and HVAC/CPO certifications are required, with on-call availability and flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of apartment maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Capstone management-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Performs make-ready tasks for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials and inventory from the maintenance department and notifies supervisor for re-ordering.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing when feasible and using tools correctly.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and be on-call.
