Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to handle resident work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnose defects, and perform repairs in compliance with safety standards and codes.

You will complete the make-ready process for vacant homes, coordinate vendors, manage supplies, document work and assist in grounds maintenance while supporting cost-saving practices. A flexible schedule and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum One Year of Apartment Maintenance.
• Technical/other training.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• AC Certification I and II.
• Criminal History Record checks required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing the source or cause of defects and making repairs.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting, and upkeep as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting and expense control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Performs Preventative Maintenance.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call.
