Job summary

Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Pflugerville, TX to handle apartment maintenance and make-ready tasks.

You will diagnose and repair issues, follow safety and code guidelines, and complete preventative maintenance to keep properties in top condition. Responsibilities include processing work orders, inspecting vacant units, coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, and contributing to cost-control efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Technical/other training completed or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies and codes.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Access and obtain materials from maintenance department, track usage, and notify supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Complete documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas through cleaning, painting, and minor repairs as needed.
• Assist in cost-control by using parts wisely and proper tool use; perform preventative maintenance.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call shifts.

Education

Apartment maintenance experience (minimum 1 year)
