Job summary

Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to handle service requests and preventative maintenance across our community in Pflugerville, Texas.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for new residents. You will also manage inventories, document all work, maintain common areas, and assist in cost-control efforts while upholding safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Technical or other relevant training completed.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing and repairing per safety standards and codes.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units: pre-move-out inspection, punch list, vendor coordination, and supplies.
• Follows materials procedures: tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies for re-orders.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when possible and avoiding waste.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks.
• Willing to work flexible schedules and be on-call.
• Promotes a positive image of the apartment community and management company.
