Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Brownsville to perform maintenance tasks across the property, including make-ready work for vacant units and preventative care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Technical or other relevant training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Diagnoses defects, repairs, and adheres to safety and code requirements.
• Prepares vacant apartments by performing make-ready tasks and coordinating vendors as needed.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and minor painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and be on-call.
