Job summary

Greystar in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our property, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards.

You will diagnose defects from resident requests and preventative maintenance, complete make-ready work for vacant units, manage materials, document work orders, and support cost-saving measures while upholding Greystar's safety policies.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (applies to certified service technicians).
• State and local jurisdictions require the applicable certifications for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, depending on property size.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects on the property and perform repairs per safety policies and codes.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor when reordering.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and amenities; clean and paint as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify safety and maintenance needs.
